Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Cynith AI ("we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and platform developer policies. This policy explains how we handle your information when you connect your social media profiles using our services.

2. Data We Collect

To provide AI content scheduling, automation, and analytics tools, we collect the following groups of data:

  • Identity Data: Full name, email address, password hashes, and billing details.
  • Social Media Credentials (OAuth): Access tokens, refresh tokens, and profile identifiers retrieved via official API integrations (such as Meta Graph API, LinkedIn API, X/Twitter API, YouTube API, and TikTok API).
  • Platform Publishing Data: Draft and published captions, hashtags, scheduled dates, and media assets (images, videos) uploaded to publish on your connected social profiles.
  • Analytics Data: Engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, reach, impressions) fetched from your connected social channels to generate insights.

3. How We Use Data

We use your information strictly to operate the Cynith platform, including:

  • Authenticating and managing your Cynith user account.
  • Authorizing social media channels and establishing encrypted API communication.
  • Publishing, scheduling, and editing posts on your behalf.
  • Aggregating metrics to populate your dashboard charts and competitor analysis reports.
  • Processing Razorpay billing and plan subscription renewals.

4. AI Processing Disclosure

Your content prompts, calendars, and brand guidelines are processed through our unified AI router (including Ollama, OpenAI, and Anthropic). We enforce strict security: your prompts and private brand data are processed on a transactional basis and are never used by us or our AI partners to train public machine learning models.

5. Third Party Services & APIs

Cynith connects directly to third-party social networks through official APIs (Meta, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube). Your use of these integrations is governed by the respective platform policies:

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information or connected platform data to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

6. Data Storage & Encryption

We take security seriously. All third-party OAuth access tokens and API credentials are encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 algorithms before database storage. Connections between our server and your browser are encrypted using TLS (HTTPS).

7. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, edit, or delete your personal data stored within Cynith. You may disconnect any social media channel at any time from your Project Settings, which immediately deletes the corresponding access tokens from our database.

8. Meta Platform Data Deletion Instructions

In accordance with Meta Developer Policies, we provide instructions on how users can request the deletion of their Meta (Facebook / Instagram) user data:

To delete all Facebook/Instagram platform data associated with your Cynith account, you can perform either of the following steps:

  1. Go to your Facebook Account Settings → **Apps and Websites** and click the **Remove** button next to Cynith.
  2. Alternatively, submit a formal request to our support team at support@cynith.in specifying your account email address. Upon receiving your email, we will delete all Meta platform identifiers, profile cache, and related tokens from our databases within 48 hours and send a deletion confirmation email.
